We don’t’ know about you, but we certainly learned a great deal about shawl shapes, construction, and how to wear them from Nancy Vandivert, our September speaker. We hope that her talk inspired you to take a look at our Ravelry bundle selected for this year’s Guild Knit-a-Long.

The Droplet Shawl (top middle) and Yojimbo (bottom left) were both designed by Nancy Vandivert. One Two Three (middle right) and Noether (bottom right) are both the work of Kate Atherley, this year’s seminar teacher. The Eyelet Triangle Shawl (top left), a fast knit in an aran weight Noro, was presented by Linda Collignon of Raveloe Fibers. Sue’s version of The Wildwood Shawl was knit from Divine Yarns available through guild member, Monica Grecco. Troppo Mayhem (top right) and Talida (middle middle) are rectangular and textured. Imagine these in yarns available from our other member dyers and shop owners! Finally, Boneyard (bottom middle) can be knit in almost any yarn and any size you like.

Just click HERE to read the details of the individual patterns. You can browse on Ravelry as a guest, but we sure wish you would join to keep track of Guild events.

We are thrilled to also have member, Nancy Tepas’, new design for the 2020 Western New York Fiber Arts Festival in our KAL bundle – click here 2020 knit along for the pattern!
